4CTech / Business systems

Your spreadsheet works. Until it doesn't.

When a shared workbook becomes the center of operations, version conflicts, manual entry and missing controls become real business risks. Keep the workflow your team knows. Replace the friction around it.

A focused starting point

One operational workflow. Done properly.

The initial engagement targets one clearly defined workbook-driven process—not an unlimited enterprise-system replacement.

Discover

Understand the workflow

Review the workbook structure, formulas, people, handoffs, business rules, data quality, and access requirements.

Deliver

Build the right interface

Role-appropriate forms, searchable records, status tracking, CSV export, validation, and responsive user interface—scoped to your needs.

Prove

Verify the transition

Reconcile representative source records, run documented user acceptance tests, and provide operating notes before launch.

Engineering standard

A small project with serious controls.

  • Written scope, acceptance criteria and assumptions
  • Source-to-target field mapping and validation rules
  • Authentication and authorization for the production design
  • Test coverage for data entry, edge cases, import/export and recovery
  • Deployment, backup and support responsibilities agreed up front

Interactive proof of concept

Our Northline Services demo uses fictional work orders to demonstrate real add/edit/delete, search/filter, summary metrics, CSV import/export and browser-local persistence.

Important: The public demo is not a hosted production system; it intentionally has no accounts or centralized database.

Initial pricing

From $1,495

For a constrained first workflow with well-defined data and business rules. Final pricing depends on number of screens, integrations, data cleanup, identity needs, and operational controls.

Paid discovery may be recommended for complex spreadsheets. Hosting, identity provider, ongoing maintenance, third-party services, and substantial data remediation are quoted separately.

Good candidates

  • Service dispatch and work-order tracking
  • Customer follow-up and scheduling lists
  • Inventory or inspection logs
  • Approval and exception workflows
  • Operations reporting from manual worksheets
